      Perfect adapter for using older USB-A cables

      We recently got an Apple Watch that came with a USB-C cable. This adapter was perfect to allow us to charge it using older USB-A chargers we have around the house. We also have a set of furniture that came with built in USB chargers, so we plan to use these as we upgrade other devices. If you don't need super fast USB-C charge speeds, these are perfect to keep your current fleet of chargers useful as you upgrade devices.

      Works ok but gets very hot

      These adapters are ok but can overheat. I tried charging an Apple Watch 7 using this adapter. It did charge but the adapter got too hot to hold before the watch was charged. Okay to use in a pinch.

      Very handy while we all transition

      As we transition from usb A to c, there are absolutely times when the cable you have will be the wrong one. Until most everything is usb c, do yourself a favor and pocket a few of these adapters just in case.
