BestWhoop USB-C to USB-A 3.0 Cable Adapter with 60W USB-C Pass-through Charging

BestWhoop USB-C to USB-A 3.0 Cable Adapter with 60W USB-C Pass-through Charging

Product Description

Top features:

  • The USB-C female port is designed only for pass-through charging of the device that is using the adapter. It cannot be used to sync USB-C devices, output video, or for any purpose other than pass-through charging.
  • Support up to 60W (20V 3A) charging speeds while you can also connect standard USB-A peripheral to your device.
  • Ultra-durable with sleek aluminum shell and nylon braided jacket to withstand daily twists and pulls.
  • Plug-and-play design keeps things nice and easy. Just get things up and running in the blink of an eye.

Pay attention to the limitation:

  • While this adapter enables the simultaneous use of a charging cable and a USB-A interface device (USB flash drives, Bluetooth receiver, etc), the detachment of the charging cable will also temporarily disconnect the USB interface device from your USB-C smartphones (No such issue on PCs, Macs, or Tablets). The USB interface devices will reconnect shortly after the interruption. Detach with caution, especially when you are transferring files with the USB drive.
  • NOT compatible with Switch game console because of the restriction imposed on the device.
  • DOES NOT support car stereo, Android Auto or Apple CarPlay if your car system identifies it as a USB hub.

Supported devices:

  • Google TV Chromecast 2020, MacBook with thunderbolt 3 port, iPad Pro, iPad Air 4th Generation, iPad Mini 6, Galaxy S10 S20 S21, Note 10 20, and more.

What's in the box:

  • USB-C OTG Splitter Cable * 1

Lack of Durability

This adapter was bought less than 2 months ago and it just stopped working in last day or so. Not a good quality product.

Should have read the review. No charging while in otg

Charging and OTG both work... Separately. The listing clearly states it's capable of simultaneous use of both, and it is not. If it is, it's not a universal compatibility, because the device I bought it for won't do both. Will return.

If you are looking for an OTG adapter than will charge your phone with the second device attached you can forget it. It doesn't even pass through a charge with just my android phone attached. Returning

in OTG mode You can charge OR use the extra port. you cant do both.

While not expressly stated, if you want to use this as an otg card you can only use the charger or the extra usb-A port. you can not use both. this is a design limitation of the OTG standard. ITs a great little dongle, though, for attaching a usb 3.0 type a drive . you just cant charge the phone while doing so.

Great for pass-through charging

Ideal when you need to connect to a USB-C device for data access, but still need to allow for charging. I use this for an IPad Pro connected to a piano keyboard for MIDI so it can be charged during use with GarageBand. Works great.
